"Paul collaborated with his wife, Jordan on this series of cake paintings. This started when Paul asked Jordan what she would paint if she were an artist. They began a collaboration where Jordan art directed and Paul painted. A lot of baking and painting later resulted in this charming series of 50 small cake paintings. The show was held at Paul's studio in San Francisco where of course they served seven kinds of cake. The show was very successful and completely sold out."
Although I've been reading her blog for a long time now, I only recently discovered that the creative and talented Jordan Ferney from OH HAPPY DAY is married to the equally talented Paul Ferney.
A guy who draws oil paintings is one thing. But a guy who draws oil paintings of cakes - seriously? He's in the same league with a man who can play the guitar AND sing at the same time! I love it!

Okay, so the whole cake thing was a collaboration with his wife, but that makes it even sweeter :)
P.S.: You can buy the Cake prints online!
